This work performed in collaboration with Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute and Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, and supported by Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC), is focused on the study of evolution of relapse in T-ALL adult patients. We have described the evolution of the disease by analysing pre and post treatment samples of 19 patients and comparing the data obtained with genome data from other ALL cohorts in the public domain. A precise estimation of clock-like mutations in leukemic cells reveals early appearance of leukemic cells suggesting that early detection is crucial for these types of leukaemias.
